Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Evri's Super Hub in Rugby. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our AM Shift, which is between 06:00-14:00, working 5 in any 7 days.
About the Role:
As a Shift Manager at Evri, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the appropriate level of resource is assigned to the specific area to cover all shifts across the working week.
- Daily planning and management of the operation, depending on the area you manage, including parcel presentation, productivity levels, and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.
- Being accountable for all shift operational costs and performance reports and able to demonstrate strong cost leadership.
- With the support of the Operations Manager, leading and controlling a team of Supervisors, including 121's, performance reviews, and team meetings.
- Responsible for all H&S, hygiene, and quality audits, including risk assessments and safe systems of work in your area.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience of logistics or distribution and ideally managing a team of operatives.
- The ability to work at pace to challenging targets within a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to influence using data and your natural charm.
