Senior Anaesthetic and Recovery Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner to join our team as a Lead Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to take on a leadership role within our Theatre department.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Anaesthetic and Recovery team to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring that all elements of clinical care comply with relevant legislation and Practice Plus Group policies and procedures.
- Act as a patient advocate and demonstrate the ability to challenge current practice by actively promoting national guidelines and best practice.
- Develop service improvements by updating and implementing new practices and products in accordance with Practice Plus Group and National guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment and resources are available to perform procedures according to the individual needs of the patient.
- Responsible for safe handling and storage of all drugs in accordance with departmental and Practice Plus Group policies.
About You
- NMC/HCPC registered.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Post-registration specialist Theatre/Anaesthetic course.
- Mentorship or relevant Teaching/Absessing certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years post-graduation experience in the Operating environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience at Senior Theatre Practitioner Level.
