Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are working closely with an Ofsted rated 'Good' community school in Bolton to find an individual who can provide tailored support for a pupil with an EHCP for Autism.

The successful candidate will be supported by the class teacher, SENCO, and other members of the Senior Leadership Team. Activities will be prepared, but the use of one's initiative and ongoing adaptability are of great importance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualised support to a pupil with Autism
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored learning plans
  • Facilitating learning in all subjects and adapting approaches as needed
  • Supporting the pupil's emotional and social development

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN
  • Able to adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils
  • Show a positive attitude and be reliable
  • Can drive or have access to transport

What We Offer:

  • Competitive rate of £12.90 - £14 per hour
  • Monday to Friday, availability
  • October start
