Job Description

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults to live well at home. Our team provides industry-leading training, ensuring you have the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Companionship - providing regular and meaningful social interaction to clients
  • Assistance with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping, requiring a driving license and suitable transport
  • Personal care - supporting clients with bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting clients with dementia and reminding them to take medication

Requirements:

  • No qualifications required, but experience caring for a friend or family member is an advantage
  • Access to a vehicle for community-based work
  • All initial training provided to UK Care Certificate standard
  • Ongoing training and support for development and qualifications
