Companion Care Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Companion Care Worker to provide support to John, who resides in Bridge of Dee.

The successful candidate will assist John with attending appointments, engaging in walks, and social activities, promoting his overall well-being.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and is comfortable working in a one-to-one setting.

The role requires a clean driving licence and access to own vehicle, as the Companion Care Worker will need to transport John on occasion.

Previous experience in adult support services or care services is desirable, but not essential. We offer comprehensive training to ensure the successful candidate feels confident and equipped to provide high-quality support.

Effective communication is vital in this role, as the Companion Care Worker will need to liaise with John's family and other relevant parties.

A satisfactory PVG check will be required prior to commencement, and flexibility is essential, as the successful candidate may be required to cover holidays and sickness.

Care workers should have a strong understanding of equality and diversity principles, promoting an inclusive environment for all individuals.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality is also essential.

Approximate salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
