At {my}dentist, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Dental Clinical Supervisor to support a pioneering training scheme in the Yorkshire region.

About the Role:

  • This is a part-time or full-time position, with flexibility to choose days, working between 2 to 5 days a week.
  • The role may also involve working as a private dentist, offering a hybrid opportunity.
  • As a Dental Clinical Supervisor, you will provide clinical supervision and support to up to 4 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
  • You will work closely with the {my}dentist clinical team to monitor the progress and abilities of the dentists.
  • You will attend training and meetings as required by {my}dentist.
  • You will assess and grade the treatment provided and professionalism of the dentists to meet their clinical requirements.
  • You will maintain your skills, competencies, and required continued professional development for general practice and supporting dentists.
  • You will liaise with the practice manager for the satisfactory integration of dentists into the practice.
  • You will provide pastoral support to the dental students while in the practice and report any issues arising from the dentists.

Requirements:

  • Full GDC registration as a dentist or specialist and active NHS performer number.
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience as a general dentist.
  • Previous experience in teaching or mentoring is desirable.
