Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Capital Projects Manager to join our Capital Project Team on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering allocated capital, maintenance, and infrastructure projects, with a focus on the built environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Case Preparation: Supporting the preparation of business cases for capital projects, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Engagement: Engaging with supply chains to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Managing internal and external resources to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaising with external design teams and internal clinical stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered in line with stakeholder requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

The role will also involve planning and scheduling of works, monitoring and reporting on progress, and providing technical advice and support to staff within the Estates and Facilities Directorate.
