Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Integrity Engineer to join our team at Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and optimized structural design of aircraft seating across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that our products meet regulatory guidelines and requirements
  • Work with the Engineering, Lead Engineers, and Certification teams to ensure customer briefs are adhered to in accordance with program delivery
  • Undertake fundamental engineering hand calculations, including determining load cases and stress/stiffness analysis
  • Use FEA systems to analyze and optimize structural designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Mechanical, aeronautical, or related engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the engineering industry
  • Ability to undertake fundamental engineering hand calculations, including determining load cases and stress/stiffness analysis
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience using an FEA system
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good personal time management and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Highly adaptable and capable of making decisions in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Requirements:

  • Mandarin language capability
