About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Wythenshawe Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate specialist nutritional care for patients with complex medical conditions and social needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, share good practice, and develop robust professional networks.
  • Actively participate in audit and research activities to ensure evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and service effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the clinical development and supervision of newly qualified staff and student dietitians.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Dietitian with a degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a strong background in clinical dietetics. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Dietitian.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher degree or advanced diploma in Dietetics.
  • Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Group Clinical Update Course or equivalent Advanced Dietetic approved course.
  • Member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
