Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Supervisor to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Care Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, leading with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers
- Lead with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people
- Ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks
- Support our Person Centred approach, ensuring maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations
Requirements
- Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Have experience in supervising a team
- Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families
- Be experienced in working within a care setting
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required
