Pharmacy Assistant with Excellent Customer Service Skills

Friar Park Pharmacy is a dynamic and busy health centre based pharmacy in the West Midlands.
Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work 30 hours a week, interacting with customers and providing exceptional advice on medication. Your communication skills will be key to success, and you will be required to update your product knowledge to provide accurate advice.
Candidate Requirements and Duties
Key responsibilities include interacting with customers, providing advice on medication, and maintaining adequate stock levels. You will also be involved in merchandising and till processes, including sales, cashing up, and running reports. Your daily tasks will include stock management, which will involve ordering, date checking, and implementing price changes when prompted.
Benefits and Requirements
We offer a company bonus scheme, on-site parking, and ongoing training. The ideal candidate will be a qualified dispenser with a medicine counter assistant qualification, but this is not compulsory. A full UK driving licence is also preferred but not mandatory.
Working at Friar Park Pharmacy
As part of our team, you will be working in a busy pharmacy environment, interacting with customers and managing stock levels. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of the pharmacy.
Key Skills and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with excellent customer service skills, who is able to work effectively in a team and provide accurate advice on medication. A dispensing qualification and experience in a pharmacy environment are desirable.
