Job Title: Data Privacy Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Privacy Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring ongoing compliance with emerging legislation and guidance, fostering industry relationships, and proactively communicating with stakeholders.

About the Role

You will work closely with our Data Privacy Operations and Advice Manager and Senior Data Privacy Manager to provide advice and guidance on the strategic direction of Privacy at Nationwide. Your expertise in data protection legislation and its application will be essential in assessing emerging risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the team at key forums, conferences, and industry events to exchange insights and best practices.
  • Assess emerging trends and risks to support internal decision making.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on data protection legislation and its application.
  • Work closely with the Data Privacy Operations and Advice Manager and Senior Data Privacy Manager to develop and implement strategic plans.
Requirements
  • Experience working within a Data Privacy function with a relevant qualification.
  • Expertise in data protection legislation and its application.
  • Proven track record assessing emerging risks and issues.
