Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with business sponsors and key users to understand and develop business processes and produce plans for implementation of changes to the AWE Business system.
  • Provide problem diagnosis for the AWE Business System.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Developers and Application DBAs to resolve issues.
  • Monitor Oracle for patches and upgrades appropriate to the functional modules.
  • Participate in testing activities for changes and upgrades.
  • Liaise with Helpdesk, suppliers, and other consultants.
  • Support the business in the design of new processes and changes to existing processes.
  • Maintain configuration baseline documentation.
  • Support end-user activities at key times.
  • Ensure that appropriate assurance procedures are applied to meet the safety standards of a nuclear-licensed site.

Essential Requirements:

  • SC clearance is an essential requirement for this role.
  • Good business knowledge in the Oracle Financials functional area.
  • Proven experience configuring and supporting within the Oracle Fusion Finance application module.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant.
  • In-depth understanding of the Financials business environment.
  • Ability to resolve support issues and enhance the Oracle Fusion Finance module.
  • Able to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of SQL and ability to define queries.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Data Protection Act requirements.

Please note that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
