About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Media Director to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our media planning team, you will be responsible for developing and executing media strategies that drive business growth and revenue across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate global media strategies into locally nuanced briefs to guide media agencies through the planning and activation process across Europe.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver broad, cross-regional plans that bring data, creativity, and insight into detailed local recommendations aligned with global strategies.
  • Oversight of country media plans, ensuring purchase orders are opened, monthly budget estimates are provided to Finance, line-by-line plan details are created, and final campaign reports are created and shared.
  • Collaborate with Production and Localisation teams on the development of media assets for the region, advising on needs, prioritisation, and best practice creative examples by channel and country.
  • Serve and maintain partnerships with regional media platforms, testing new capabilities and opportunities, staying up-to-date on evolving media landscapes and best practices.
  • Regional Media Expert: Provide regional media expertise and franchise expertise, including in-depth knowledge of our priorities at a regional level relevant to media, and be able to share up/down and across the organisation and regional agency.

Requirements

  • Experience with paid media in the region, with an understanding of the planning process, the role of digital and traditional channels, and full-funnel KPIs.
  • Experience building relationships with senior partners in Marketing, Creative, and Analytics roles.
  • Interest in the evolving world of data, attribution, and media testing.
  • Knowledge of global regulation, with experience operating across multiple markets.
  • Experience presenting with confidence; experience advocating for the role of media across the marketing organisation.
  • Experience across short- and long-term measurement approaches, the strategic use of first-party data, and the next generation of attribution.
