Join Our Team as a Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker in the Worcester Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of our local communities.

About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to deliver evidence-based interventions and support individuals accessing our services. You will have the opportunity to work with adults and older adults with mental health problems, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals accessing our services
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused activities
  • Support registered professionals to deliver interventions and manage caseloads
  • Provide support and guidance to carers of patients accessing our services
  • Represent the team on specific projects and working groups as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 qualification in care (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats
  • Ability to work flexibly and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the post
