Job Overview

The Big Red Recruitment team is seeking a highly skilled Network Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic Technology Infrastructure team for a period of 12 months. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the rollout of our state-of-the-art SD-WAN platform across 700+ sites throughout the UK.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with our network service provider to ensure seamless site migrations to the SD-WAN platform.
  2. Develop and maintain site deployment templates, including connectivity options, wireless access point locations, and endpoint connectivity.
  3. Create and update standard documentation on the current network and future state of the SD-WAN deployment.
  4. Implement and maintain monitoring standards across sites as they are migrated to the SD-WAN platform.
  5. Provide training and handover support to our Service Desk team for migrated sites.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of networking principles, including wired and wireless technologies, routing and switching, and SD-WAN concepts. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
