Job Title: Cleaning Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Area Manager to join our team at ecoSense Cleaning in London.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of contracts across London and the South East, maintaining and developing relationships with clients, and managing cleaning personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to all client communications
  • Arrange regular meetings with clients to discuss cleaning standards and services
  • Conduct regular inspections to review cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement
  • Arrange one-off cleans and deep cleans with clients and ensure client satisfaction
  • Proactively visit sites during cleaning shifts to monitor cleaning standards, staff attendance, and uniform
  • Ensure cleaning personnel are completing their duties and adhering to Health and Safety protocols
  • Liaise with Managers and Supervisors on a daily basis to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication
  • Be involved in the selection and training of new cleaning team members
  • Monitor equipment, uniform, and stock levels to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning management experience is required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Able to effectively manage cleaning and supervisory staff
  • IT literate
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence
