Job Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Project Quantity Surveyor for a leading national fire and security company based in Derbyshire. The role involves managing construction projects' costs and quality, providing commercial support to project managers, and attending site meetings as required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing project budgets and costs
  • Negotiating final accounts and resolving disputes
  • Sourcing construction materials
  • Identifying variations to designs and specifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in quantity surveying, excellent management and communication skills, and experience working with industry-standard contracts such as NEC, JCT, and ICE.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £53,500 per annum, depending on experience. You can also expect a range of benefits, including a company vehicle or vehicle allowance, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, and progression opportunities.
