Job Title: Planned Works Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £38k - £40k plus package

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planned Works Supervisor to join our team at Howells Solutions. As a Planned Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of planned works projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and that staff follow health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Project Management: Monitor and review progress of work against the programme, schedule of works, and budget, and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure quality delivery of works through daily and weekly auditing and supervision, and resolve issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Customer Relations: Monitor day-to-day customer relations, take steps to prevent issues from occurring, and proactively work with the customer liaison team to understand customer needs.
  • Team Management: Assist the Site Manager in managing staff in line with policies and procedures, including recruitment, training, capability, disciplinary, talent development, and succession.

Requirements:

  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience with a reputable repairs/maintenance contractor.
  • Trade Background: Trade background and experience of planned works.
  • IT Literacy: IT literate and proficient in using software applications.
  • SMSTS: SMSTS certification required.
