Innovate and excel with Rolls-Royce plc as an Innovative Materials Specialist This exciting role offers the chance to work on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of materials science.

Your key responsibilities will include helping suppliers deliver products and materials within specification, statistically analyzing and modeling material properties, and conducting forensic failure investigations through metallurgical analysis. You will also develop your knowledge of different materials and their uses, and gain experience in failure investigation studies, research and development, process control, manufacturing support, supplier management, and laboratory-related improvement activities.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong academic background, including five GCSEs including Maths and Physics at grade B/6, English Language at Grade B/5, plus 2 others at grade 4/C in any subject. Additionally, you should have three A-levels at BBC, including Maths and Chemistry at grade C or above, plus one other, excluding General Studies. Alternatively, an A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma in an Engineering-related subject at DDM is also acceptable.
