We're seeking a skilled NPI Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with our driven team and contribute to creating life-changing products.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the successful launch of new products, focusing on cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. This role will play a vital part in enhancing product quality and processes, benefiting our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Procurement to introduce new products efficiently, overseeing manufacturing processes and resolving production bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement processes for new products, maintaining product and process quality, and conducting root cause analysis and problem-solving as needed.
  • Manage design transfer by creating project timelines and costings, assessing tooling requirements, placing orders, and updating technical literature, while facilitating feasibility studies and implementing design change controls.
  • Work with suppliers and procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and components to support production schedules.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role related to process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualification in a relevant discipline, either apprentice-trained or to degree level.
  • Experience in production process improvement for efficiency (material utilisation, time, cost, quality, compliance).
  • Experience working with various materials such as wood, sheet plastic, fabric, sheet cardboard, etc.
