Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Signal Design Engineer to join our Urban64 team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing traffic signal schemes from inception to completion, requiring a deep understanding of the traffic signal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design traffic signal schemes from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with customers and the wider team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of software tools essential for traffic signal design, including CAD, LinSig, MCH documentation, TR2500s, and MOVA
  • Review and audit traffic signal designs and associated documentation
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Requirements:

  • Proven background in traffic signal design with demonstrated involvement across various schemes
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of traffic signal legislation and guidance
  • Proficient in CAD and junction modelling (LinSig)
  • Skilled in writing and interpreting MCH and TR2500 documents
  • Familiarity with traffic signal configuration packages
  • Competent in Microsoft Office suite
