Job Title: Project Engineer - Body Structures

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Recruitment Bunker. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Body Structures department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
  • Assess production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
  • Compile data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity
  • Oversee the quality of work at project sites
  • Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely closure of all actions
  • Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects
  • Produce product design and development plans
  • Ensure all safety & legal requirements are being followed

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within Body Structures or within a Project Management role
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers
  • Ability to manage one's own time, multitask, and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Proven record of people & project management
  • Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings
