Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership and management of our residential care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that the needs of our residents are met and exceeded.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home, including the management of budgets and resources.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to our residents, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a senior leadership role in residential care, ideally within a Learning Disabilities environment.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or Children's Workforce (or equivalent) and a Level 5 (or willingness to work towards this).
  • Experience of leading, coaching, and mentoring a team, ensuring that relevant Codes of Conduct are upheld.
  • Competent IT skills, mainly MS Office.
  • Driving License would be preferable.
