Swimming Academy Co-ordinator

BH Live is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Academy Co-ordinator to join our team at BH Live Active, working across two sites, Littledown and Stokewood.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to our customers' lives and help them learn a life skill. Our Swimming Academy provides swimmers with a high level of water confidence, swimming techniques, and general water skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our Swimming Teachers are aware of all relevant policies and procedures, delivering site-specific inductions to new teachers and assistants, and adhering to all our policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Swimming Teachers are aware of all relevant policies and procedures
  • Delivering site-specific inductions to new teachers and assistants
  • Adhering to all our policies and procedures
  • Dealing with customer queries, including complaints and compliments
  • Administering waiting lists and non-member alerts
  • Overseeing private swimming lessons and level water programs
  • Providing support with staffing levels and covering classes
  • Attending training and meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Great communication skills
  • Hold a Swim England Level 2 Teacher qualification
  • Previous experience of working as a Swimming Teacher
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends, bank holidays, and evenings
