Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team at Apleona. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onsite testing of water systems, including water softeners, UV systems, and chlorine dioxide/silver peroxide dosing plants.
  • Take water samples for laboratory analysis and monitor temperature levels.
  • Clean, disinfect, and descale water systems and appliances to maintain legislative compliance.
  • Provide site and client-based contract management and service support, specializing in water hygiene-related activities.
  • Quote new works following site visits and laboratory reports.
  • Attend monthly meetings with clients and contract managers.
Requirements:
  • Legionella awareness training and demonstrable experience in the water treatment industry.
  • Working knowledge of AcOP L8 and HSG 274 or Parts 1, 2, and 3.
  • Ability to demonstrate risk assessor and pre-commission cleaning skills, plumbing skills, and service/installation of water treatment equipment.
