About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join our team at Murphy, a leading provider of water and wastewater services. As a Senior Quality Advisor, you will play a critical role in championing World Class Quality delivery across our framework, ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System Deployment: Proactively drive the effective deployment of our Quality Management System, integrating best practices and innovative approaches for continual improvement.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure suitable mechanisms are established and deployed to progressively check and assure compliance, actively participating in checking activities relevant to technical competence.
  • Project Close-Out: Support the achievement of 'Fit to Finish' working collaboratively with others to enable effective close out of projects.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of sites and workplaces to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures, and other stated requirements.
  • Quality Performance Monitoring: Establish and deploy mechanisms to track, monitor, and report Quality Management performance, identifying improvement focus areas.
  • Culture Development: Champion and support activities, including training, coaching, and mentoring, to instil the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to positively influence behaviours and embed a World-Class Quality culture.
  • Travel: Occasional travel within the UK or abroad may be required.
Requirements
  • Site-Based Experience: Demonstrable site-based experience within civil engineering or construction is essential.
  • Water Industry Experience: Experience within the Water Industry would be beneficial.
  • Quality Membership: Relevant Quality Membership (MCQI) is desirable.
  • Internal or Lead Auditor Qualified: Internal or Lead Auditor qualified.
  • ISO 9001 Standard: Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
