Disease Transmission Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Disease Transmission Analyst to join our client's team near Guildford, where they deliver world-leading research studying viral disease outbreaks in livestock. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing data from experimental studies and integrating the findings into models.
This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with field and laboratory scientists. The successful candidate will support decision-making for policy makers by designing and developing models for the transmission, surveillance, and control of FMDV and ASFV.
About the Role:- Design and Develop Models: Create comprehensive models for FMDV and ASFV transmission, surveillance, and control, taking into account complex data and information
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with UK-based teams developing FMDV and ASFV models, sharing expertise and best practices
- Suport Outbreak Response: Collaborate with the client's emergency response team during disease outbreaks, providing expert analysis and guidance
- Contribute to Institute Activities: Participate in research meetings, seminars, and journal clubs, contributing to the development of new ideas and approaches
What We Offer:
