**About the Role:**
Barrington James is seeking a Veterinary Epidemiologist to join our team in Guildford. As a leading provider of recruitment solutions, we have partnered with a prestigious research institute to find an exceptional candidate for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
- Analyse data from experimental studies conducted by the Transmission Biology and African Swine Fever teams, integrating the findings into models to understand and manage the transmission and control of FMD and ASF
- Support the clients response to disease outbreaks as needed
**Requirements:
- PhD with a substantial mathematical modelling component
- Experience of working on foot-and-mouth disease virus
- Experience of collaborating with laboratory and field scientists
The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
