About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charity Fundraising Professional to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our charity team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, community groups, and stakeholders to drive fundraising efforts and support our mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Charity Manager in the day-to-day running of the charity, performing key administrative and financial tasks, including banking procedures, recording financial transactions, and assisting with grant applications.
  • Develop and deliver fundraising campaigns and events to engage local communities and businesses.
  • Seek out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities, and community groups to support our fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and build existing partnerships and maintain strong communication with fundraisers to ensure a high level of engagement and support.
  • Plan and deliver our biggest campaign of the year, Mission Christmas, which will challenge your organizational, logistical, and relationship skills to the maximum.
  • Ensure that Bauer Media Group remains a prominent and integral part of the local community by seeking out media partner and influencer partnership opportunities.
  • Keep the local Cash for Kids website and social media platforms updated with news stories and engaging content.

Requirements

  • Organized, accurate, and thorough with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, confident, with a hands-on approach and great work ethic.
  • Able to work on your own initiative.
  • Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required.
  • A team player; developing excellent working relationships internally and externally.
  • Passionate and have a vision on what unique qualities you can bring to this role.
  • A holder of a current, full clean UK driving license.
  • Knowledgeable in social media platforms and able to use them effectively.
