About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Associate to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Dialysis Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing haemodialysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide optimum quality of care to patients, offering support to the multi-professional team.
  • Administer medications in alignment with NMC standards of proficiency and Trust policy and procedure.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to the delivery of Care Benchmarking activities and Trust-specific CQUINS targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Matron and Manager to ensure holistic care to renal dialysis patients and compliance with specific infection and dialysis guidelines.

Requirements

  • Foundation Degree in Nursing.
  • GCSE/Functional skills in English & Maths level 2.
  • Trained Nursing Associate Registered with the NMC.
  • Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate.
  • Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional.
  • Understanding of requirements for NMC professional revalidation.
