About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Associate to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Dialysis Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing haemodialysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide optimum quality of care to patients, offering support to the multi-professional team.
- Administer medications in alignment with NMC standards of proficiency and Trust policy and procedure.
- Participate in audits and contribute to the delivery of Care Benchmarking activities and Trust-specific CQUINS targets.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Matron and Manager to ensure holistic care to renal dialysis patients and compliance with specific infection and dialysis guidelines.
Requirements
- Foundation Degree in Nursing.
- GCSE/Functional skills in English & Maths level 2.
- Trained Nursing Associate Registered with the NMC.
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate.
- Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional.
- Understanding of requirements for NMC professional revalidation.
