Community Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Peer Support Professional to join our multidisciplinary team in Ealing, London. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your personal lived experience of mental health distress to support others and contribute to a collaborative approach to community-based integrated care.
Main Responsibilities- Provide formalized peer support and practical assistance to help individuals engage with their local communities and benefit from available supports.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team covering a Primary Care Network or locality, collaborating across networks to establish a comprehensive support structure.
- Completion of peer support work competencies as defined by ImROC.
- Personal lived experience of mental health distress.
- Personal experience of accessing primary or secondary mental health services.
- Evidence of further related training.
- Attained at least Level 2 Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)).
- Ability to critically think and reflect.
- Good understanding of recovery-focused principles and how they can influence support for service users.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information effectively.
- $31,081 to $33,665 per annum inclusive of 15% HCAS.
- Opportunity to develop and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues.
- Possibility of contributing to research projects or audits.
