About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) function as the Head of QSE. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental management across all our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the QSE function, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement effective QSE policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and manage a team of QSE professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance QSE knowledge and skills among employees.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with QSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and maintain our ISO certifications and other QSE-related accreditations.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.
- Provide regular QSE reports to the Management Board, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a QSE leadership role, with a strong track record of implementing effective QSE systems and processes.
- NEBOSH Diploma (CMIOSH) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong IT literacy and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
