Associate Director, Client Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our client management team in the Economy and Environment policy area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economic policy and market challenges, with a passion for policy themes including innovation, regional economic development, industrial and infrastructure policy, business and competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct evaluations through the full project cycle from design to developing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Present findings from evaluation to clients, key stakeholders, and other audiences.
  • Oversight on successful evaluation proposals and pitches.
  • Provide specialist expertise in a policy or methodological area.
  • Contribute towards the strategic and operational management of the team.
  • Mentor team members.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful policy and evaluation team at Associate Director level. The team has a growing portfolio of complex evaluations of high-profile energy and civil infrastructure projects and industrial policies. You will lead evaluations of major interventions aimed at tackling the challenges of achieving net zero, energy security, and addressing the UK's productivity growth.

Requirements:

  • Commercially minded evaluation specialist with a good understanding of economic policy and market challenges.
  • Passion for policy themes including innovation, regional economic development, industrial and infrastructure policy, business and competition.
  • Experience in managing and directing evaluations through the full project cycle.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
