School-Based IT Teacher - SEN Specialism
We are seeking an experienced and passionate IT teacher to join our team at a SEMH school in West Drayton, UK. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, experience working with children with SEMH needs, and a strong understanding of child development and SEMH issues.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of students with SEMH, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Collaborate with the therapy team, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs), ensuring each student receives comprehensive support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in SEMH education and integrate them into lesson planning.
Salary Range and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is around £38,000 - £58,000 per year, depending on experience, plus SEN points.
