Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth, and helping them to reach their full potential.
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform their teaching practices.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
  • SEN experience is desirable.
