The Emerald Group invites applications for the position of Insurance Reporting Specialist, a critical role in our actuarial department. Based in London, this permanent opportunity requires an experienced professional to deliver high-quality actuarial reports and analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement actuarial reporting metrics and models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert analysis and interpretation of data to support business objectives, collaborating with finance, ALM, capital, and investment teams.
  • Produce detailed actuarial reports and relevant analysis, adhering to regulatory requirements, such as IFRS and Solvency II.
  • Evaluate and refine methodologies and assumptions deployed in actuarial systems to meet team objectives.
  • Develop and improve modelling methodologies and reporting tools, leveraging industry expertise.
  • Advance professional certifications through the IFoA and complete CT series exams.
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance products and markets, including UK reporting regulations.
  • Apply analytical skills to assess materiality and determine appropriate courses of action.

Estimated Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, aligned with industry standards and location.
