About the Role:
We are partnering with a reputable Home Care provider to deliver high-quality care that promotes independence, dignity, and happiness for all service users. As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including skincare, bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, toileting (including bladder and bowel management), dressing, and hair care.
- Support mobility needs, including moving and handling transfers, pushing wheelchairs, and checking specialist equipment.
- Aid with dietetics, including menu planning, food preparation, serving, and storage.
- Help clients with daily living activities such as work, leisure, and education.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the medical team.
- Manage correspondence and financial matters as needed.
- Perform day-to-day household tasks like changing beds, laundry, ironing, and shopping.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Report and record information according to company procedures.
- Commit to ongoing personal development within Active Assistance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
