Job Title: Qualified PE Teacher for SEND Primary School
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified PE Teacher to join our team at a special needs primary school for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), based in Harrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons suited to the needs of ASD and PMLD pupils, ensuring activities are engaging and inclusive.
- Adapt physical activities to meet the diverse physical and cognitive abilities of the pupils.
- Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to pupils with ASD and PMLD, fostering positive engagement.
About the School:
Our school in Harrow is divided into two departments, and we are looking for a tenacious Qualified PE Teacher who can inspire and lead pupils in both departments, delivering tailored physical education sessions. You will play a key role in supporting the physical development and well-being of pupils with complex needs.
