Electrical Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join our Energy Division, working on the Bournemouth Contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of electrical services installation, taking full responsibility for personnel working on the contract and delivering services to the required SLA.
Key Responsibilities- Management of day-to-day project delivery, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, supplier performance, and improvement.
- Commercial management and reporting to line managers.
- Drive a 'Safety First' and 'Right First Time' culture across the field operations, backed up through plans and engagement with suppliers.
- Manage and lead M&E field supervisors responsible for designated projects.
- Ensure accidents, incidents, and near misses, quality failures, and service deterioration trends are investigated competently, and corrective action is taken where and when appropriate.
- Through a close working relationship with commercial, identify and mitigate risks to delivering the budget, supplier, and/or overhead cost impacting upon the project.
- Manage the operational relationship with all suppliers, ensuring monitoring is in place to ensure that M&E services are delivered to the required standard.
- Deliver quality service to the client, ensuring that performance standards, contractual KPIs, and SLAs are met.
- Carry out regular audits of staff performance and quality of work to ensure the highest standard of service and workmanship is being achieved.
- Previous experience of working on healthcare project delivery from an electrical services perspective.
- Recognised Building Services Qualification - ONC / HNC in Building Services Engineering.
- Strong experience of programme management.
- Strong electrical systems background to ensure full understanding of systems for installation on designated projects.
- As a requirement for the Mechanical and Electrical Department, an enhanced DBS check must be passed due to the client buildings being visited.
- Full UK Driving License which has been continuously held for 12 months or more, with no more than 6 points.
