FRS Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join their team as a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a background in SMEs and a strong understanding of transactional finance duties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchase and sales ledger, journal posting, annual budget preparation, and cash flow monitoring. They will also be required to work with external accountancy firms to produce the company's month-end accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Post journal entries and reconcile creditor accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with payroll, including weekly and monthly salaries, pension matters, and P11D, P60 information.
- Support the MD with audit and financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting and finance, preferably in an SME environment.
- Strong understanding of transactional finance duties and external accountancy firm relationships.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
