Kitchen Trainee

Fulham Football Club is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Trainee to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food for our players, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standards.
- Knife Skills: Develop and maintain your knife skills to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Menu Planning: Assist in the planning and preparation of menus, particularly in the lead-up to games.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt and storage of ingredients, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Cleaning and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with chefs and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Team Support: Provide support to team coaches and staff as required, including food preparation and travel.
Fulham Football Club is committed to providing a safe environment for children, young people, and adults at risk. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will be expected to:
- Understand Safeguarding Policies: Familiarize yourself with our safeguarding policies, including safeguarding children, adults at risk, anti-bullying, and equality policies.
- Complete Safeguarding Training: Complete the Fulham Safer Working Practice Workshop and the FA Safeguarding Children workshop as part of your induction.
- Monitor and Report Incidents: Monitor repeated incidents of poor behavior and report concerns to your Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) or Head of Safeguarding.
