Job Summary

This is a key role within the Isle of Wight NHS Trust, responsible for managing the provision of electrical engineering services to ensure they are safe and available for their intended use.

The post holder will work closely with the Operational Estates Manager to advise on all aspects of electrical services and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, NHS guidance, and health and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and coordinate operationally all electrical engineering installations, services, systems, and work activities.
  • Advise on the most cost-effective and efficient way to deliver electrical services, either through directly employed labour or external contracts.
  • Liaise with directly employed labour electrical and mechanical trade supervisors and contractors to achieve Isle of Wight NHS objectives and best value.

Person Specification
