Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to achieve improved health outcomes and promote health and wellbeing.
  • Coordinate the work of the team, influencing clinical decisions and monitoring the quality of patient care provided.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of service improvement that promotes quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with the NMC code and prioritize people, practice effectively, preserve safety, and promote professionalism and trust.
Requirements
  • BSc Nursing or RN currently registered with NMC.
  • Post-registration, specialist training relevant to specialty.
  • Experience in assessing and developing patient care plans, developing and delivering care and clinical interventions, and teaching, training, and supervision/assessing junior staff and students.
  • Clinically competent at Band 6 level.
  • Ability to assess patients/clients and develop/implement care programs, understanding of the health needs of people in their care and health promotion, and knowledge of health promotion.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles and legally able to work in the UK and work with children and vulnerable adults.
