Claims Investigator

We are seeking a skilled Claims Investigator to join our Liability team within our Complex Claims department at Admiral Insurance Plc.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and manage liability and recovery claims from inception to conclusion.
- Proactively manage a caseload of claims, ensuring timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Accurately reserve claims in line with our reserving philosophy.
- Defend allegations of negligence when our customer is not at fault.
- Negotiate settlement of costs with third parties when applicable.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external solicitors.
- Stay up-to-date with legal aspects of liability and recovery.
- Background in liability claims, personal injury claims, or recovery claims.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent listening skills, and ability to negotiate.
- Ability to think creatively, work autonomously, and adapt to change.
- Confidence and professionalism when interacting with customers and other parties.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
