About the Role:
Horizon Teachers seeks an experienced Secondary Science Educator with a specialism in Physics to join a well-established school in Camden. This position involves delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, promoting high standards of teaching and learning across the department. Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Science at KS3 and KS4 levels and Physics at KS5.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that promote student understanding and enthusiasm for science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to develop curriculum delivery.
  • Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).
  • A passion for Physics and inspiring young learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
Job Description:
This role is ideal for a dedicated Science Teacher who can inspire and engage students with Physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering challenging lessons, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in school activities. A strong passion for Physics and excellent classroom management skills are essential.
