Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm Fridays 9:00am - 1:00pm Saturdays on rota basis

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic workshop team at Lookers Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a crucial role in performing vehicle health checks using cutting-edge technology, executing vehicle services, and handling necessary repairs.

Our Service team is integral to delivering exceptional customer service with every interaction. We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician who is self-driven, ambitious, and eager to enhance their skills while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Executing vehicle services following manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests
  • Completing additional repairs upon customer authorization
  • Performing warranty repairs as per manufacturer's specifications and documenting appropriately
  • Conducting road tests on customers' vehicles to ensure all issues are resolved
  • Accurately completing all necessary paperwork

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous workshop experience, a valid UK driving license, and NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent. Possession of an MOT License would be advantageous. Prior experience with the brand is beneficial but not essential, as full brand training will be provided.
