Vehicle Technician Role

Lookers Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks, conducting vehicle services, and performing repairs. You will work alongside our experienced technicians to deliver first-class customer service and ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Conduct vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests
  • Perform repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Warranty repairs will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines
  • Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop and be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn. You will require a full UK driving license and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Having previous experience of working with the brand would be advantageous, although full brand accreditation training can be provided.
