Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Testing Engineer to join our team at UTAC. As a Battery Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting a range of tests on batteries and battery systems, including performance, life cycle, durability, and safety testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct battery testing, including performance, life cycle, durability, and safety testing
  • Work with a team of engineers and technicians to coordinate and deliver test activities
  • Develop and commission test rigs and apparatus
  • Program automation or software-controlled applications
  • Undertake analysis of results and prepare technical reports
  • Apply continuous improvement methods to activities and facilities

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a technical or electrical discipline
  • Sound understanding of electrical principles and battery fundamentals
  • Practical experience with data analysis and presentation
  • Programming skills in automation or software-controlled applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly motivated and flexible with excellent team player skills
