**Job Title:** Security Officer for Cheltenham Racecourse
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Cheltenham Racecourse. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and visitors
- Screen and search all persons entering the venue, including bag and body searches
- Retain and use information relating to safety and for evacuation purposes
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as necessary and eject persons from the venue if directed and necessitated by Event Control
- Provide world-class customer service to ensure our visitors have a positive and memorable experience
- Retain and use information relating to key areas on site (medical room, toilets, bars etc)
- Deliver the brief given by the supervisor (access control, searching, response)
**Requirements:**
- Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Close Protection Licence
- Approachable person with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
- Able to take direction and follow instructions
- Able to communicate effectively, both spoken and written English
- Smart, presentable and punctual to time and attendance
